 Dear Colleagues,

 Since the early 90’s Liver Transplantation became a reality in the Arab World with Saudi Arabia leading the way for a decade followed by Egypt in the era of Living Donor Liver Transplantation and recently Jordan and Lebanon.
In March 2006, the 1st PanArab Liver Transplantation Congress was held in Cairo with great success; that meeting witnessed the birth of PanArab Liver Transplantation Society (PALTS).
The 2nd PanArab Liver Transplantation Congress, which will be held in Riyadh on 14-15 March 2007, is a continuation of the effort to consolidate the cooperation between members of the transplant teams in the Arab countries in order to meet the challenges facing liver transplantation in the Arab World.
We also hope that this meeting will cover all aspects of Liver Transplantation both from medical and surgical perspectives as well as Anaesthesia, ICU, Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Socio-Economic issues.
You are all cordially invited to actively participate in the 2nd PanArab Liver Transplantation Congress.
